Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Constitutional Facial Acupuncture is a safe, painless and effective treatment for rejuvenating the face as well as the whole body.  Acupuncture that focuses on the face is not separate from that which addresses the well-being of the body.  If one examines meridian flow, it can be observed that "all Yang channels pass through the head, and that the 365 connecting vessels all rise to the head".  It therefore makes sense that constitutional facial acupuncture does benefit the entire system. 

Benefits include, but are not limited to:
Improving acne, helping gynecological & menopausal issues, helping headaches, edema, puffiness, toothache, benefitting eyes, ear, brain, helping insomnia, depression, self-esteem, tightening pores, brightening eyes, eliminating fine lines and diminishing larger wrinkles, reducing double chin and drooping eyelids, improving muscle tone, reducing stress,  and promoting total health and well-being.

Please allow 1.5 hours for initial consultation, and 1 hour for follow-up treatments.
A series of 10-12 sessions is recommended. Results may be seen after the first session, but are usually more apparent after 7-9 sessions.

Treatments may include a varying combination of face and body acupuncture, facial cleansing, herbal mask, moisturizer application, aromatherapy, Chinese herbs, facial massage, and microcurrent.

Constitutional Facial Rejuvenation

Treatment of your unique skin type includes the application of facial cleanser, herbal masque, acupuncture treatment for the face and body, essential oils and moisturizer.  Whole body acupuncture is incorporated into the treatment to support your underlying balance. Individualized recommendations for diet, herbal therapy, and skin products are provided to you.

Fees

• Initial Treatment (90 minutes):  $225    schedule appointment
• Ongoing Treatments (60 minutes):  $150    schedule appointment

• Series of 10 Treatments:  $1,350
• Series of 15 Treatments $1,850

Microcurrent Facial Rejuvenation

In this type of treatment, the practitioner uses the application of relaxing microcurrent using handheld probes over the facial area.  Microcurrent stimulation is used in place of acupuncture needles to achieve the desired outcome.  Treatment includes facial cleanser, herbal masque, essential oils and moisturizer.  As no acupuncture needles are used, body points are not incorporated into this treatment. Individualized recommendations for diet, herbal therapy and skin products are provided to you.

• Ongoing Treatments (60 minutes):  $200    schedule appointment

• Series of 10 Treatments:  $1,800
• Series of 15 Treatments:  $2,500

Basic Acupuncture Facial

In this version of facial acupuncture, small needles are applied over the facial area to support rejuvenating circulation, strengthening of muscles, and relief of wrinkles.  Acupuncture treatment includes body points as well to support the underlying balance of the body.

• Initial Treatment (60 minutes):  $175    schedule appointment
• Ongoing Treatments (up to 60 minutes):  $120    schedule appointment

• Series of 10 Treatments $1,100
• Series of 15 Treatments $1,500

Acupuncture Scar Therapy

Acupuncture is used to effectively relieve the appearance of scar tissue anywhere on the face or body.  In addition to the cosmetic benefits, in Chinese medicine the treatment of scars is understood to help the underlying flow of energy throughout the body, thereby improving health and wellness.

Fees

• Initial Treatment (up to 90 Minutes):  $150    schedule appointment
• Ongoing Treatments (up to 60 minutes):  $90    schedule appointment

Insurance and Fees

Many insurance plans are starting to cover acupuncture. Coverage varies even within a given provider and may range from a discount on services to reimbursement of 50-80%. Please check with your provider to find out if you are covered and what your coverage includes.
