Jin Shin Jyutsu
Jin Shin Jyutsu® physio-philosophy is the ancient Japanese art of harmonizing body, mind and spirit using light touch. Similar to Acupressure, Jin Shin Jyutsu® facilitates balance in the body's energy systems, which promotes health and well being. Jin Shin Jyutsu® sessions last approximately one hour with the client lying fully clothed, on his or her back. The practitioner "listens" to the wrist pulses which highlight the area of the body that needs harmonizing.
The practitioner gently places their finger tips or hands along specific locations (know as "Safety Energy Locks" or SEL's) on the body. This stimulates the circulation of the energy pathways which helps to clear accumulated tension and stress. Release of tension and stress helps the body to regain harmony.
Jin Shin Jyutsu® is a wonderful complement to conventional healing methods by reducing the effects of stress, inducing relaxation, boosting the body’s immune system, and assisting our innate healing capacity.
