Insurance Statement
Many insurance plans are starting to cover acupuncture. Coverage varies even within a given provider and may range from a discount on services to reimbursement of 50-80%. Please check with your provider to find out if you are covered and what yourcoverage includes.

For any other plan, you will receive a receipt with all necessary information to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.
Questions to ask your provider
- Does my plan include acupuncture coverage?
- Is it covered both in and out of network?
- What are the benefits for acupuncture services?
- If my plan covers out of network acupuncture, what is my annual deductible, and what percentage is reimbursed after the deductible is met?
- Is there an annual limit on my acupuncture benefits?
- Is a medical authorization required for my acupuncture treatment?
Most health insurance plans do not yet cover holistic services such as bodywork and massage therapy.
If your employer offers a flexible spending plan for health expenses, you can usually use this account to pay for your acupuncture and bodywork treatments. Check with your employer for information on your flexible spending benefits.

Cancellation Policy
Giving Nature Center has a 24 hour cancellations policy. We ask that you notify us well in advance if you need to cancel or change your appointment. Payment in full will be due for all sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Monday appointments must be cancelled by Friday.
